Who can review
Medical reviewers are registered medical and allied health professionals with relevant expertise, such as spine surgeons, pain specialists and physiotherapists. Their names, credentials and profiles are shown on every article they review.
What the review covers
- Accuracy: the content matches current evidence and guidelines.
- Safety: advice is safe for the general public, with clear limits.
- Red flags: warning signs that need a doctor are included where relevant.
- Sources: references are trustworthy and up to date.
Review cycle
Every health article is reviewed again at least every 12 months, or sooner when guidance changes.
How dates are shown
Each article shows when it was first published and when it was last medically reviewed.
